I may not know him in person; in fact, I've never even heard of him before the accident. But his parting this world made me realise how fragile life is. Even when people related to me pass away, I had not had such thoughts. Maybe it's because this time, it wasn't of a natural cause, his age is just a mere 2 more than my own, and that the road where he got knocked down was one I had been crossing almost everyday for the past 2 years. With that, perhaps I should, as Mr Siow says 'stop taking things for granted', and stop procrastinating, work or just feelings I think I should express. Rest in peace.
Anw training today. Went to school early to hand in sketchbook to Khor. Met Yf at school gate when I was going off the Parkway to kill time(since I arrived way too early). Good luck getting the chance to corrupt/mislead the poor secondary1s of the 2008 cohort x) Better you than some of the other applicants on that list anyway :]
Met Jaren and his bro when I took 43 from Parkway down to VS. I called Jaren(on phone) and jokingly said, 'Eh you think you walk with earpiece in ear damn cool issit?' But phone reception's ridiculously screwed so I smsed him instead and walked behind him lol. Met Wayne and Ryan and jogged for 3 rounds(Ryan stopped at 2 due to stiches and Jaren joined me for last round. showoff :x)
Training was long. Lyehuat, Weilie, Terence and I started practising the 'criss-cross' method for daggers. For our performance at Kovan this coming Sunday. ANYWAY SEAN GOT DEPRIVED CHILDHOOD SIA! He started playing weird weird games of the past with Terence/Weilie. Think ji-gou-pa, Vampire(damn I've never heard of this ._.) etc, you get the gist.
Took 31 with Sean and Terence. Here's our interesting conversation:
Sean(S): **** I hate our school la.
Everyone: Why?
S: See what other schools have that we don't la.
Zf: *plays dumb* Er.. Let's see. Indoor sports hall.
S: Other than that -.-
Zf: Hmm. A track :(
S: Nonono. See KC, CHIJ St Theresa, St Nicholas, TKGS. What do they have that we don't.
Zf: OHHHH! I KNOW! PINAFORES!
Terence(T): What are pinafores?
Zf: *draws outline of a pinafore on his shirt with finger (T was sitting in front of S and Zf)*
T: Aiya what's so hard. Just think Sean's mentality.
Zf: *keeps quiet*
S: Ya la so easy.
T: I know you so well that I can go be your psychiatrist.
Zf: Right.. Weather very nice!
